Welcome

My name is Paul Reedman and this is my poetry website. The site is dedicated to my family and friends, to my loved ones past, present and future, but especially however, to my children, without whom, such depth of emotion could never be reached.

It is a window to my world, or part of my world, the world beyond the apparent indifference that is often all that is visible from the outside looking in, this is the inside looking out. This is the forum for the expression of my inner feelings, my feelings in a particular moment, or a particular period of time, or for all time. It is a place to share my feelings with my nearest and dearest and for they, in times of insecurity or doubt, to be reminded of them. It is my poetry emotion. Perhaps, moreover, it is the developing legacy of my life.

Every poem is forwarded by an introduction, providing an insight into the background to its conception and the motivation that inspired it.

Now that I have taken this step, I have committed myself to further writing that will be routinely added as the website is monthly updated.

It is my hope that visitors here will discover some empathy and understanding in my words and I hope also, that they will feel free to comment, exchange views, or even offer some poetry of their own that I might display here with my favorite classics.
